Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city
VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging eu news ukraine young people, parents and teachers via public information points and event-based activities. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide straightforward information on drug risks, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. A short report is available via a published overview.
According to organisers, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
